The fall of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan paved the way for millions of refugees from neighbouring Pakistan and Iran to return home. The size of the return has been unprecedented in UNHCR’s history. This film reviewing how returning refugees, with the assistance of UNHCR and its partners, are able to return home. The film also identifies what more needs to be done to ensure that the return is sustainable.
